Terms of Service

Welcome to Cardice ("Cardice," "we," "us," or "our"), a trick-taking card and dice game operated by Mystic Media LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://cardice.online, the Cardice mobile and web applications, and all related features (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Your Account

You may register using a supported third-party login (such as Google or Facebook) or by other means we offer. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Kudos and Virtual Items

Cardice uses "Kudos," a virtual in-game currency, and may offer other virtual items (collectively, "Virtual Items"). Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not a form of currency, security, or gambling instrument. Virtual Items are licensed to you for use within the Service only and remain the property of Mystic Media LLC. We may award, adjust, or remove Virtual Items at our discretion, including through login streaks, achievements, referrals, leaderboard rewards, or optional purchase.

Cardice does not offer real-money gambling, wagering, or games of chance for cash prizes. Any purchasable Kudos bundles are optional convenience purchases, not investments or games of chance.

4. Cardice-Pro

Cardice-Pro is an optional one-time upgrade that removes ads and unlocks additional features and customization options as described on the Service. Cardice-Pro is a digital license tied to your account and is non-transferable. The annual fee is $12, and a lifetime pro membership is $36.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized third-party software, or manipulate game outcomes
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other players or staff
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Attempt to buy, sell, or trade accounts or Virtual Items outside the Service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the Cardice name, logo, game rules presentation, artwork, and software, is owned by Mystic Media LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

7. User Content

If the Service allows you to submit content such as an avatar, alias, or chat messages ("User Content"), you retain ownership of it but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce it as necessary to operate the Service. You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the right to submit it.

8. Third-Party Logins and Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services (such as Google or Facebook login). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mystic Media LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or Virtual Items, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or the Service.

12. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
